Meet the New Ferrari Amalfi — The Roma’s Elegant Successor

16.10.2025

Ferrari has officially unveiled its latest grand tourer, the all-new Ferrari Amalfi, the long-awaited replacement for the Roma. Named after the picturesque Amalfi Coast in southern Italy, this new coupe blends timeless Italian elegance with contemporary performance. Designed to be more approachable, refined, and driver-focused, the Amalfi marks a fresh chapter in Ferrari’s modern GT lineup — one that combines sophistication with everyday usability.

A Balanced Approach to Power and Performance
While many rivals continue chasing higher horsepower figures, Ferrari has taken a more refined route. The Amalfi features a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that now produces 631 horsepower, just 20 more than the Roma. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h). Retaining its rear-wheel-drive layout and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Amalfi focuses on balance and responsiveness rather than brute force. Ferrari engineers have refined the engine’s character with lighter camshafts, a sharper throttle response, and improved exhaust acoustics, ensuring every drive feels alive.

Designed for Elegance and Aerodynamic Efficiency

The Ferrari Amalfi’s exterior design is entirely new, carrying over only the glass from the Roma. Its fluid lines and sculpted proportions exude grace, while subtle aerodynamic enhancements increase stability and downforce. The rear features a sleek integrated spoiler capable of generating up to 110 kg of downforce, and the front fascia showcases a bold reinterpretation of Ferrari’s new design language. Influences from the Purosangue SUV can be seen in the sleek headlights and hidden sensors, giving the Amalfi a futuristic yet timeless appeal.

A Smarter, Simpler, and More Driver-Focused Interior

Inside, Ferrari has finally listened to its drivers. The Amalfi brings back physical buttons, including a proper Engine Start button, replacing the controversial touch-sensitive controls from recent models. The cabin features a wider, more open dashboard design, a new 10.25-inch central touchscreen, and an optional passenger display. Every detail, from the anodized aluminum bridge console to the precision-milled wheels, reflects Ferrari’s attention to craftsmanship. The result is an interior that feels both luxurious and functional — a true evolution of Ferrari’s 2+2 design philosophy.

The Next Chapter of Ferrari’s GT Legacy

Set to reach its first customers in early 2026, the Ferrari Amalfi is expected to start at over €260,000, positioning it as Ferrari’s entry-level grand tourer — but there’s nothing “basic” about it. With its balance of power, elegance, and usability, the Amalfi redefines what a modern Ferrari GT should be. Whether you’re admiring its engineering precision or celebrating the return of real buttons, one thing is clear: the Ferrari Amalfi signals a thoughtful new direction for the Prancing Horse — one that values emotion as much as performance.
